Top 5 most useful Computer Shortcut

 Why need shortcuts.? With some set of shortcuts we can effectively complete more work in less amount of time compared to others. How/what is shortcut ? Okay. So shortcut can a be a single key or combination of  key that are press from either Keyboard or Mouse to complete a particular task in effective manner in our computer.

Here I’ll mention some of the most basic & useful shortcut  keys that you can use in your daily life.

#1  F2

 F2- F represents Function. Here F2 means Function key no 2 that found on the top  of the row in our keyboard.

Use- To rename a file/folder name.

Procedure- Select a file or folder. Press F2 key. It’ll allow you to write file/folder name. After written hit Enter key.You done.

#2  Shift + Delete(Del)
Every drive in a computer system reserves 10% of memory for recycle bin. Whenever we delete some data it automatically disappear(delete) from that location but the original file(address of that file) stores in the recycle bin. From where you can restore the file later on. If you want  to clear that file from your entire computer system you need to  click on Empty Recycle Bin by right click on the icon of recycle bin in desktop screen. No doubt it is a lengthy process. So the purpose of this shortcut is reduce your effort to delete a file without storing in recycle bin.

Whoop there so much using of word “recycle bin”.

Use- To delete a file without storing in Recycle Bin.

Procedure- Select a file/folder press & hold the shift key and press delete button from your keyboard.

#3  Alt + Tab
This shortcut is very useful for multitasking peoples. Multitasking is the trend of today. We like to play game, listening songs, browsing internet etc. In a scenario where you are surfing the Online shopping site. And side by side there is a song played in your computer. In that case if you want change that song. You need to jump the music player by using mouse to change that song. In a worst case. You are tasking more than 5 job in computer simultaneously. Than jumping to page by page is time consuming. Here you can use this shortcut.  

Use- Floating one active page to another very easily.

Procedure- Just click and  hold the Alt key and point click to TAB button. Release keys when your desired page is highlighted.

*(This would work only when your pages active in task bar)

#4  +  E
Whenever we want to open a file, we click on Computer/This PC icon on desktop screen and open the file from corresponding drive. But this process can easier by using this shortcut.

Use- To open the local driver windows.

Procedure-Just press  (windows button) and E from the qwerty pad and it’ll pop up the driver windows where your all drive belongs.

#5  F5

Hang. We all know what is meant by hang in computer system. It is a phase where computer system unable to process data or literally not responds with user interaction. In such a case a refresh key of computer can be helpful. This can be done by this shortcut.

Use-  For refreshing the computer system.

Procedure- Press F5 button from that top of the row of keyboard.

(Sometimes it takes to manually do a one time refreshing before it can work properly. So do  refresh with mouse first by just right clicking on mouse and select refresh.)
